Long mileage, steep climbs, miles of “ledges” slanted rocks which were wet and slippery, trying to beat thunder storms while on ridge, pouring rain, sore feet, crowded shelter.

I am trying to be more positive. 😉

I was grateful for a stream crossing that was only calf deep, 2 benches to sit on after long climbs (probably Boy Scout built), blooming Red Bud trees, that there was space for us in shelter.

And most of all… Today’s well deserved Zero!

We imagined the view was amazing.
Then the sun comes out and things are awesome again.
